Neuromuscular Medical Massage: Upper Body

Instruct students in the techniques of neuromuscular therapy with a particular emphasis towards working with medical patients. Students will learn assessment and palpation, as well the benefits and contraindications of this massage. This modality of massage is particularly geared towards working with patients currently undergoing treatment with physical therapy and other recovery programs. It can be used as an augment to current treatment plans, and also as a first step towards ongoing recovery. This class is geared towards upper body treatment, including the back, arms, shoulders, and neck.
